We invite you to playfully reclaim the field of your attention through creative prompts that will help us slow down, tune in, and explore within the social ecologies that hold us. 🔥🐌❤️
Subscribers receive unique quarterly mailings (That’s right, babe! Real mail!) which will include seasonal journal pages for the Wheel of Attention, and creative prompts for connecting with the spirited ecologies of your home-place.
This isn’t just a handmade print subscription, it’s also a community! Together we can develop an Edgelands way of seeing that helps us to respond with an ethic of love, bravely in the midst of collapse.

Therapeutic Edgelands packages a wealth of ideas and curiosity into the cheerfully humble trappings of a riso-printed zine. Each issue literally unfolds in front of your eyes, leading you into an immersive, meditative reading experience. I love the deceptively simple design and the lively mix of prompts, writing, and spaces for a reader to do their own thinking and observing. Publisher Bridget Quinn’s work celebrates human connection, tactile exploration, and unexpected landscapes. Driven by an unmistakably Detroit energy that is as staunchly local as it is radically inclusive, Therapeutic Edgelands reaches across cultures and borders to welcome everyone into the circle of attention. —Patrick Barber, publisher of Impeller Press
The Therapeutic Edgelands project weaves communitarianism, animist mysticism and a playful, outsider art aesthetic. The result is a series of thoughtfully constructed zines that serve as an archive for a collective practice of reimagining our relationship with the marginal and often-overlooked ecologies that exist within and just outside of ourselves. As a longtime contributor and collaborator on this project, I have seen the transformative power that Edgelands has had in my own creative practice and I have also witnessed the profound effect it has had on others who have found the “Invitations” listed in each issue as portals for reclaiming and remembering a creative instinct that lives inside us all. The intentionality that goes into every aspect of each issue is a testament to Bridget Quinn’s unwavering and tender commitment to art that is a prayer and call to join in the joyful resistance against the rigid confines of a collapsing Imperialist state. – Anna Sysling, Radio Keweenau
