After much internal debate, I decided not to try and retrieve the DOLLAR that was in the hole! It took a lot of self-control… but I decided that if my arm got bit by some unknown creature… the dollar would really not have been worth it, plus, maybe the beast needs it more than I do.

I live near Fitzgerald High School, and occasionally bits of homework and notes blow into the yard. Today I found this gem written by an unknown high school student.
The George W. Kuhn Retention Treatment Basin, previously known as the “12 town drain” is the site of huge combined sewer discharges (when partially treated sewage and fully treated sewage are mixed and discharged during big rain events).
